Matthew Robert Color and Design Salon Fashion Week Team

Azeza Rostum
Azeza Rostum leads the Matthew Robert Team through another St. Louis Fall Fashion Week. As the Director of Design at MR, her success is accented by her desire for ongoing education and the need to pass it on. Azeza is one of the reasons why Matthew Robert can say, "We fuse the best of the East Coast and West Coast style right here in the Midwest." She began on the West Coast in Santa Monica, California, for months of training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. There she mastered the art of taking hair design to the next level. Azeza continued on to the award-winning Redken Exchange in New York City (Redken's global training facility) where she became Redken Color Certified. Persistent with her schooling, she recently completed Redken's Specialist Connection and will take that even further with Redken's progressive training, Master Specialist, '09.

Curtis Linscott
Matthew Robert Color and Design welcomes their newest member of the team. Constantly pursuing furthered education in design, color and finishing, Curtis has worked professionally for the last 8 years, staying up to date on all the latest trends and technology. Curtis also holds certifications in thermal straightening, Great Lengths hair extensions and Redken Master Specialist Connection. Most recently, Curtis was inducted into the Redken team as a Redken Educator. Throughout this training, Curtis has extended his education to Redken methodology and product knowledge. As a growing artist, Curtis is devoted to making the guests visit a memorable one.

Joseph West
Joseph West has been an accomplished hair designer in the industry for over 8 years. He has completed extensive training and testing to earn a spot as one of the select few Redken Certified Hair Colorists in the state of Missouri. With his knowledge in hair color, he is also recognized as one of two Redken Educators in the St. Louis area. With a passion for fashion and style, he strives to take hair design to new heights. He worked with the team at Alive to do a photo shoot last fall for Fashion week. Specializing in corrective hair color, he has the ability to change the look and texture of hair. Joseph's knowledge and drive for excellence builds the already established Color Team at Matthew Robert Color + Design.

Samantha Dallavis
Sam has a true passion for helping her guests reach their full potential with their looks, taking their design to the max and accentuating every detail. Sam has had extensive hands-on training with Matthew Roberson and with a Redken Global Colorist. She has taken multiple cutting classes with national hair stylists. She has also attended Redken's 2007 and 2009 symposiums. Sam was recently named Matthew Robert's Make-Up Director for her unspeakable talent and creation for any occasion. Sam is always looking for new ideas and continued education, most recently becoming a Redken Certifed Colorist. She believes in our motto at Matthew Robert Color + Design, "The Science of the Art", and is always doing "everything for a reason".

Kit Frahm
After completing a seven phase program with ten in-house education directors and over twenty co-phase directors, Kit Frahm earned an educator status for the well known team at The Parlour based in Denver, CO. Specializing in women's haircutting, Kit worked alongside internationally recognized platform artists and educators for companies such as, Tony and Guy, Modern Organic Products, American Crew and Wella International. It was then that she saw the importance for continuing education within the industry of hairdressing. Originally a St. Louis native, Kit decided it was time for her to "come home". After searching high and low, she found that Matthew Robert Color + Design was the perfect fit.

Chandra Fredrickson
Chandra's passion for fashion and love for complete makeovers allows her creativity and love for education to fuse together. After completing an 18 month strict education program starting in Michigan and ending here in St. Louis, Chandra's excitement and eagerness to take on any challenge shines through with her guests. Finding inspiration in fashion magazines, television and even music, Chandra knows what trends are here and what trends are coming, then applying them appropriately to each guest based on face shape, body type and personal style. Chandra is an educator for PureOlogy. As a PureArtist she will be traveling, while teaching product knowledge as well as tips and tricks to stylists across the country.
