Connie Bourgeois, also known as "Conjetta", graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and a Minor in Marketing. She grew up in a family with ten kids, all who share a creative streak. Connie's own creativity materialized when she was a little girl making clothes for Barbie. Later, her mother taught her how to sew, and she began making unique purses and wallets out of old, worn-out jeans. She always knew she was destined to design clothes and, while in school, developed her signature style of unexpected combinations, such as biker jackets over silk dresses.
