Maggie Laskowitz
Calling the creation of her first entire collection "inspiring, educational and life-changing", Maggie Laskowitz's love of fabulous clothes has continued to grow ever since. Acquiring essential techniques and valuable knowledge at Stephens College and Paris American Academy, she credits both with pushing her outside of her comfort zone and making her the designer and person she is today. Each of her designs reflect draping, embroidery and couture techniques. Her collection "Lovely", inspired by the big band era of the '40s and '50s, incorporates all of her specialties; couture lace techniques, hand embroidery and work with Swarovski crystals. She hopes that each of her dresses will not only look fabulous, but will make the women who wear them feel confident and beautiful.
