Belle Gente Salon was created with its clients in mind. It's 2,500 square feet of pleasant relaxation and a respite from everyday pressures. The competent, well-trained staff includes hair stylists, nail technicians, estheticians, massage therapists and salon coordinators. The professionally designed salon includes features such as massaging shampoo-station chairs, a separate color room, high-tech color processors and sound-deadened esthetic and massage rooms. SALON TEAM:
Allyson Kucik (Team Leader): Allyson received her formal training at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minn. Prior to becoming a partner in Bella Gente, she worked at another prestigious St. Louis salon for six years developing her skills. Allyson is very innovative in sculpting a look that makes her clients appear their best. She has participated in several Redken seminars in New York City and has been recognized internationally by Redken 5th Avenue as a Redken Certified Hair Colorist. She has attended many local, regional and national beauty shows and participated in numerous cutting and styling symposiums put on by Salon Association, International Haircolor Exchange, Procolor, Redken and others. Her clients have benefited greatly in that she expresses what she has learned by creating color and styles comparable to none.

Kathy Kucik: Kathy exemplifies the meaning of artistic director. She has professionally cutting, coloring and styling hair for over 30 years. As an owner of Bella Gente, she brings an incredible knowledge of the beauty business to the salon. Attending numerous local, regional and national beauty industry seminars has kept her on the leading edge of style and fashion. Teaching and mentoring the techniques that she has learned over the years is her true passion.

Dennis Kucik: Dennis is the managing director and co-owner of Bella Gente. He is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce and is involved with beauty industry organizations such as the Salon Association, International Haircolor Exchange and KRS Summit Schools. His expertise is in behind-the-scenes action of the salon. In his eyes, there is nothing more important than leading by example. He believes the success of Bella Gente is dependent on the total satisfaction of the client.

Khristel Douglas: Khristel has been in the industry for 14 years. She is a Redken Certified Hair Colorist who specializes in "natural looking" hair color. She also is a master of bridal hair and makeup.

Traci Wilson: Traci has been in the industry for five years and is a Redken Specialist. Her coloring techniques bring out the natural beauty in her clients. Keeping up with fashion and hair styling changes is what keeps Traci on the leading edge of the beauty business.

Stephanie LeFeber: Stephanie is new to the industry. She was trained at the Redken Salon Professional Academy. Stephanie looks forward to bringing her passion to the industry and making people look and feel there bests.

Lauren Calcara: Lauren has been in the business for four years and enjoys developing her talent as a stylist. She is creative and caring and will give you the look that you want. Her positive energy translates into a positive look for her clients.

Susan Reeds: Susan has been in the industry for six years. By completing the Redken Masters Program, she realizes how important ongoing education is. Her talent and love for setting trends shows in every aspect of her work.

Trish North: Trish's talents are developing every day. Her attention to detail has been the trademark of her success, and she has become a highly recommended stylist because she listens to her clients and produces a unique look that is perfect for them. Being a hair stylist has captured her heart and soul. Hair coloring, cutting and styling is an art in which her talents excel. Trish has been recognized internationally by Redken 5th Avenue as a Redken Certified Hair Colorist.

Lana Shapshovich: Lana has been an exceptional stylist since she came into the business 15 years ago. She brings a European flare to cutting and coloring techniques. Lana understands the industry is always changing, and she knows how to coordinate a person's appearance with their lifestyle.

Brittany Leavell: Brittany brings to the salon a desire to go far beyond what she learned at cosmetology school. She has just started her career on the floor as a full-time stylist and is accepting new clients daily. There is no doubt that with Brittany's positive energy to succeed that she will develop her skills as a colorist and stylist.

Caitlyn Conboy: Caitlyn chose this profession because she enjoys bringing out the best in the client's hair. She is one of the salon's newer talents. Caitlyn has the passion and the skill for the beauty industry. She is building a brilliant career at Bella Gente Salon.

Jamie Hagen: Jamie is presently an associate stylist being trained by Kathy Kucik and will soon be graduating to stylist. She is a caring person that listens to her clients. She enjoys implementing fun and creative styles. Her level of talent far exceeds her youth. She has a great attention to detail and the ability to enhance a client's natural texture.

Heidi Flandermeyer: Heidi loves interacting with her guests, which shows in her ability to listen to them during consultations. Her artistic eye and attention to detail ensure the end result is the desired one. Her specialty services are hair color and makeup application.

Ashley Thompson: Ashley is a highly trained aesthetician that has produced not only relaxation for her clients, but also a very beneficial skincare service. Her training affords her the ability to consult and diagnose individual skin types, no matter the ethnic background. She also has an innate ability to reduce the discomfort involved in waxing. As a makeup artist, she can create just the desired look the guest is trying to accomplish.
